Wann-Van Stockum Dramatic Enterprises™ is a collaboration between Dr. Jack Wann and Ronald R. (Reggie) Van Stockum, Jr.

Jack and Reggie are natural storycrafters and storytellers who, together, have produced a body of work that is captivating and engaging. Audiences can’t look away — whether watching an otherworldly one-act play inspired by an eclipse or toe-tapping along to a fun country musical set in the fictional Jubilee, Kentucky — the works of Dr. Wann and Van Stockum are delights.

Meet Jack & Reggie

    Dr. Jack Wann

    Dr. Jack Wann is a lifelong theatre educator, director, and practitioner. As a professional (AEA/SAG-AFTRA) and in his academic career, Dr. Wann has performed, directed, and stage-managed over 350 productions all over the country. He served for many years as department head for two major university programs in Kentucky and Louisiana. Later moving to New York City, he spent nine years teaching and directing Shakespeare at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and performing professionally. His textbook, “Shakespeareance: An Approach to Acting Shakespeare,” has been used in programs all over the United States. Dr. Wann now resides in Shelbyville, Kentucky and is an active participant in the Shelby County Community Theatre, directing some of the theatre’s most acclaimed production in recent years.

    Ronald R. Van Stockum, Jr.

    Ronald R. Van Stockum, Jr., is a lawyer, teacher, biologist, writer, guitarist, and recently an actor living on his family’s old farm in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He has a B.S. in Biology, from Santa Clara University, and a M.S. and PhD. in Biology from the University of Louisville. He also has his Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Louisville and practice law from offices in Shelbyville, Kentucky. He concentrates his legal practice in environmental law, and his biologic research in historical phytogeography.

    Dr. Van Stockum has published numerous books, articles, and short stories in the areas of science, history, culture, and creative writing.
